Orthodox Vacation Bible School

The first annual Orthodox Vacation Bible School was held from Friday, July 23rd to Sunday, July 25th.  Over forty five students participated during the three days.   OVBS gave the students an opportunity to improve their spiritual life as well as having fun with their friends during the summer.  The younger students enjoyed various arts and crafts and used them as a means to learn  Bible stories.

The closing ceremony was held on Sunday which began with speeches from Fr. Yohannan Panicker and Abraham Varughese, Director.  Students shared the songs they learned as well as memories of their first experience of OVBS and congratulated the Sunday School Teachers on a well job done.  The ceremony concluded with a parade around the church wearing their OVBS t-shirts, chanting OVBS Slogans and holding flags.

Overall, it was a great turnout which brought the students together to get closer to God and their friends.
